It was extremely close, I wouldn't disagree with Lederman that the knockdown might have done it for Cotto.

Judges should be forced to explain they're round by round rationale for scorecards like that.....garbage!

 

I gave it to Clottey 114-113. The last three rounds of Clottey's inactivity might cost him the fight. Anyhow, I just don't see the fight 116-111 for Cotto.
Cotto showed he's a true fighter handling the struggles thrown at him. Clottey should be the better man tonight (due to Cotto's cut early on, maybe?). Mass respect for both.

116-111?? NO way in hell ! But Cotto won the last two rounds to win the fight. Still, I think if he moves forward and push Clottey to the ropes he could have Knock him out. Cotto forgave him a few times
