i've not seen the fight but the judge scored it 8 rounds to 4 cos of the knockdown, so that means only a sway of one round for it to be a two round fight so it can't be that bad.
It could have gone either way, but the long pause before giving the score and that score card showed that Clottey was robbed.
Here is something on the judge that had that scrore: Millers travels have taken him to 15 countries where he enjoys status as one of the sports best and most requested judges. A boxing judge is considered average if he enjoys a 75-80 percent success ratio. Millers 98 percent success ratio places him near the top of that list. See the thread I just started on the judge you agreed with. It gives two links. One about his 'credentials' and one about how he scores a fight. Simple stuff. Maybe he can get you some work? He has a 98% 'success' rate and you scored it like he did.
No, people just can't see how Cotto won 8 rounds. :hi: No need to be patronising because you disagree.
Exactly...by far the worst score of the night...I had it 115-112 and 1 point either way from that is the only place this fight belonged in scoring. The Clottey judge takes the cake on scoring IMO.
IM watching it right now,,, I see cotto running and his shots bouncing off of clotteys gloves while clottey knocks him around
It's on HBOW at my place....5th rd where Clottey just got up. Considering that fall and the cut...all of this bitching seems ******ed about Cotto....he could have said he could not see and he had the fight on the cards the entire time....Cotto earned this win and Clottey gave the **** away.
Bingo. :good I had it 116 - 111 on fight night but 115 - 112 when I re-watched it. What's important is that the right man had his hand raised at the end. :deal
