Agreed. Jennings, in a similar manner to Povetkin in the Huck fight, and a lesser extent in the Klitschko fight, simply charged in bent at the waist. Not much you can do in that situation but clinch.

    Well theres not.

Somehow, the judges handed Garcia a win over Peterson. So on that note.....there is no true justice aside from a clean 10 count KO in boxing.:-(

I had Jennings losing 7-5 with the lost point rd being 10-9 Jennings.

    115-113 I think

Yes, Jennings was ramming with his head low many times. Yet, the referee did not produce a single remark to him. Not a single one? How come?

It's wide but not that wide. Jennings didn't do a lot in there apart from move and survive.

    116-111 from me.

I enjoyed this fight, nice to see Wlad out of his comfort zone and confused a bit at times. Amazing to me people are crying about this fight being boring. Makes me think we have very few boxing fans on this site.

Also Jennings should have been warned about lunging in with his head, it was intentional and illegal.

Jennings rabbit punches Wlad, hit him 3-4 times after the brake, lunging dangerous with head a lot of times and referee let him get away, no single warn, but instead of that take a point on Klitschko, rly? Not to mention all the warning for Wlad, when he jab or put his hand infront for range finder, and referee start crying about pushing. There was some pushes, but wtf you warn only Wlad about everything???
Correct me if im wrong but some of Jennings body shots was in the kidney area i dont see a single warn for it.
Im pretty sure Wlad was angry/****ed with the referee and thats even more break his plan.

Eh. Two official judges said Wlad lost round 3.

And, as has been said before, those are all the rounds at least 1 official judge said Wlad lost.

Yeah. Agree. It's one thing to have the referee enforce basic rules, but having them judge fight styles and infer who's doing what based on strategy is iffy to me.

I really don't like the clinching, but I'm not sure what to do about it. Maybe having the ref be harsh really is the lesser of all evils. The fact that Jennings seemed to be forcing Wlad to clinch makes me think not though.

You are far too easily pleased. That fight was an utter borefest the only real losers were the fans. Wlad kept his streak going an Jennings survived and we lost an hour of our lives.

I won't shed a tear when Wlad retires his style is just too incredibly negative just like floyd has been for years. Wilder and Fury may not be as defensively gifted but atleast they are fun to watch.

Jennings sucks I had it 118-109 and felt that was being generous to him. You don't win titles just surviving. He was being even more negative than wlad. Jennings does seem to have a decent fighting iq but he's to weak and feather fisted to be champ post wlad. He did seem to puzzle wlad with his bull rushing and putting his head under wlads armpit which lead to wlad getting a point deducted. Pitty patter bodywork doesn't win too many rounds though. I reckon Jennings gets beat by most of the top fighters unless he can do a ruiz and spoil his way to victory. He only beat Perez on a bs point deduction.

118-109 is a much more respective scorecard than the fools who had Jennings winning the fight. Jennings fought competitively and gave Wlad fits but no way he won that fought.

Jennings performance is understated on this forum. He lost, yes. But he won several rounds. Best performance of any Wladimir challenger to date who didn't actually beat him.

Literally the 4th best anyone ever did against Wladimir. That is mighty impressive.
