Ranking bantamweight fighters 1. Nordine ouballi 2. Guillermo rigondeaux 3. Jon riel casimiro 4. Naoya inoue 5. Nonito donaire 6. Zolani Tete 7. Jason moloney 118 is stacked and I expect Inoue to lose to Casimero
You do realize that Casimero went life and death with Ricardo Franco before KOing him late, he looked on the verge of being stopped himself on a few occasions, and that he was comprehensively outboxed by Jonas Sultan 3 years ago? Look, I've been a big fan of Johnriel for a while, and I even picked him to stop Tete and in the 3rd round. But that had more to do with how frail Tete is, and how stylistically it would play in his favor. Inoue destroys him in 2 rounds. Donaire does too.
Unfortunately I think Rigo is past and doesn't make the final bell. I don't even think he'd beat Donaire in a rematch
Good to see Aust Jason Maloney get some recognition. He is the only 118 lb fighter to be ranked in top 5 by all major belts. WBC , WBA , IBF and WBO.
I'd say Rigo gives him a good go for about 5 minutes, then gets slumped. He's simply too old and too fragile IMO. Although I disagree with Eye. I think he'd still beat Donaire. Donaire has always been one-dimensional as he needs someone to come to him to be effective. Rigo isn't gonna do that, and still has the faster feet and longer reach.
Keep a eye on Jeff Fenech prodigy Brock Jarvis 17 - 0 15 ko though he fights at 122 lbs and most likely will fight on Horn vs Tzyu undercard. This will be PPV in Aust but most likely in the States on ESPN.
Inoue is definitely on top not quabali and casimero is right up there in 3.I think Casi should fight Quabili for the number 2 spot.Donaire should retire his shot self immediately.Tete has deleted himself out of the picture permanently not sure why he is still there.
Tend to agree. He's looked like **** under Ronnie Shields. If he gets back with Pedro Diaz, he'll have a chance though.
Surprise Nery isnt there the only Mexican contingent at 118.Id put Ricardo Franco kid strong would give most a good test.Dark horse would raushee warren very tricky southpaw to deal with.
