Waldo, at 37, is basically fighting like Ali did in his later years... bend the rules as far as the ref will allow. Elbows, leaning, holding, pulling down on the neck... so long as the ref doent make you pay, why make the fight harder?

Also of note is that Waldo was ragdolling a guy who had never been on the canvas in his professional career. Do not tell me Wlad doesn't have sick power.

+1 to the bold, and great post overall.

It's also worth noting that the Wlad of tonight was older than the Ali of both Spinks fights.

Not the point or meaning of my post. Just that old ass champs bend the rules as far as allowed. You dont keep the belt by taking risks. Just ask Jack Dempsey.

Have to agree with Fury. I hope Fury gets a shot at wlad. At least Fury wont be so god damn nice. Fury will kick Wlad in the nuts if he trys to hold. Wlad looked old today and slow. Povetkin should have picked WLad up and slammed him on the ground.

Man you are pathetic. Most of those were not knockdowns and you know it. The ref acted like he was on drugs.

Sitting where I am, knowing what I know, being who I am... I feel a lot better than pathetic.

By the way, look at this world title fight and tell me what you think. And, by the way, the ATG featured here is 34, not 37...
