I think league is just as good a spectator sport as it is to participate in, but rugby is boring as **** to spectators if it's a non-eventful game, but at least the players are still getting a workout. ****, Kessler looks like some *** from Linkin Park in your avatar
League is a lot slimpler thus a half wit can enjoy it a bit more. But to play Union you have to have an edge, what is Rugby without rucking, mauling and proper scrummaging? League like ice skating is an art not a sport the only think you need is speed, you do not even tackle properly.
Y = Yes. I do agree a bit, though union has grown on me a bit. I now prefer seeing the end to end kicking duels, etc. But I'd still like to see the backs come into play more. I also prefer the forwards role in league too. Yeah, he looks pretty nerdy. Hard to think that someone looking like that is on the verge on breaking into the top 10 p4p.
Are you talking to me? Because I don't recall rattling your cage. I've played both codes extensively and I voiced my opinion based on that experience and being a spectator of both for many years. League players don't tackle 'properly'? Lordy days :rofl League players tackle to stop the man, not just to bring him to the ground and then try to steal the ball from him. A halfwit = someone who uses the word 'simpler' but can't spell it properly, not someone who can understand rugby league :hat
2 degrees in that 4 years as well. Yeah dont forget that first off England isnt a rugby league nation at all (its only really played in the North) and 2 Bath is one of the biggest Union cities in England. Iv seen some of the guys in here quote their bench presses and they arent alone. When I started at Uni I was 14stone which is just under 90Kg, and in that year I was benching 90Kgs for 4 sets of 6, I never did 1 rep maxes that year but you get the idea, I was only just benching more than body weight. Now Im a little bit lighter and bench 115 as my 1 rep max. When I see guys benching nearly twice their body weight, when they are ****ing huge as it is its pretty sick. On another note tho I wouldnt wanna be like a few of these steroid freaks I see in the gym, Iv seen one guy who is literally like a blob, hes about 5ft10 tall, and 5ft10 wide as well, and he was benching like 200k for sets of 10 which was absurd because the bar was bending over him. Id say its far better to be strong but have some fitness to you as well, and I think guys like Sheridan and Matt Stevens who are big strong heavy guys, but get about the pitch too show this. Also I think you'll shag a lot more birds as well if your not one of these blobs who bench 500Kg.
G'day Jackal how's tricks champ? Mate u know better than most i've been drilling that pommy **** for over 4yrs...... So my answer to the above is absolutely.
Actually I was generalizing, I think the simplicity of League does attract fans, a lot of people I know do not know the rules of Union, and indeed there is plenty of grey areas. League went the route of everything being black and white... I find it not very enjoyable myself, and it still struggles to take off as a sport outside of Australia, New Zealand and Northern England, but it does have an appeal to some without doubt...
