If Lewis gave a re-match, maybe we'd know.

Frankly, I doubt Lewis could stand up to 12/6/03 Vitali in a rematch.

Lewis went life and death with primitive giants like 6/21/03 Vitali. Imagine what happens when he faces a genuine superheavyweight.

12/06/03 Vitali demolishes him, we're honestly just superior athletes and a superior race now because we became so superior with evolution and training methods and... Hold on I'm running out of buzz words... Ehhhhhhhh lebron james said something about something once...

If modern rates are any indication, something like four hundred thousand medical articles were published between the two Vitalis' careers. 6/21/03 Vitali was good for his time, but his trainers simply didn't have the scientific knowledge to produce a monster like 12/6/03 Vitali.

How much more did Vitali weigh after getting bigger in `03?

It's not really a fair comparison, since the eras aren't equivalent. 12/6/03 pounds are much better than 6/21/03 pounds.

Superior nutrition has made modern years much bigger than they used to be.

Unless Vitali gets cut badly, which I can see happening again, I pick VK by unanimous decision. Vitali according to Lewis does have thin skin, it's just that he is a wizard at fighting at distance, that opponents haven't been able to exploit this. However, when a non puncher like Kevin Johnson was shut out over 12 rounds, ironically it was Vitali's face that was bruised and the worse for wear.
Even in Wlad's crushing ko of Ray Mercer, who he absoloutley brutalized, Mercer hardly landed anything, but Wlad's face was cut, bruised, and swollen.
