Nice list. It almost makes Bradley look good.

No doubt you'll get a call from Uncle Bob asking if he can borrow some of your points when trying to sell the fight.

Heh. You know what else almost makes Bradley look good? Unifying major world titles twice, taking three undefeated fighters' O's in a row, in two weight classes, defeating six former/future/current world champions and remaining undefeated while doing it. :rofl What a joke he really is! Another fraud to help Congroidsman Fraudio remain popular! :rofl...

You don't think Roach seemed to underestimate Marquez from what he was saying? He was saying they'd get the KO but I suppose that should of been the goal. He did tell Pac to gt his lead foot outside JMM's too

    What's your prediction

    Who've you got Rico?

You're right the speed with which Pac pulls the trigger is immense and Bradley can be hit by straight lefts. Alexander gave him a few problems countering him, but Pacman won't be as negative as Alexander

I could absolutely see Pac winning, perhaps sensationally but I'm still going to pick Bradley

You know you love me really Pops, if you disagree with that and had Pac winning the Marquez fights then obviously you'll disagree with someone who had him losing. I'm not saying either that Bradley would be as well suited to that role as Marquez. Bradley fighting as counter puncher may not suit him as he currently fights differently. Although against Witter he often fought as a pure boxing counter puncher

You're forgetting winning the title on the road against a champion who Hatton avoided and was Mayweather's mandatory, in Witter.

Really it'd be considered a super fight if Bradley was popular (maybe added Khan to his ledger) and Mayweather had stayed retired

Hard to say, mate. But I'll go with a close decision for Pacquiao where he isn't allowed to look good. It may even be a controversial one.

Over in the Brit forum there's a Pac-Bradley breakdown thread - which you may wanna' join (I've already put your post in there):

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=379337

A few things I think Bradley will/could use on the night:

    1. Follow the example of Mosley and JMM
Like Brother Nazim was shouting to Mosley during the fight: "All you’re doing is showing somebody else how to beat this man". JMM, 5 months later, showed us all again. A retreating target confuses Manny big time. He struggles to measure the distance and all of his punches fall short, especially when you circle to your left whilst going back. Once his left hand is taken away from him, he’s rendered ineffective for the most part.

    2. Frustrate Manny early
Use the first few rounds to keep Manny’s success rate right down to the ground. He’ll be hopeless and deterred by the latter rounds, and will be less of a monster to take the fight to – something that’ll be needed at some point if you want to win points!

    3. Upper body and head movement
Despite being absolutely appalling at cutting off the ring, there may be occasions where Manny will force you against the ropes. When in these situations, simply apply your usual head and upper body movement to continue limiting Manny’s connects. Do this in the middle of the ring too, of course.

    4. Countering with controlled, fearless aggression.
Once you’ve got a feel for Manny’s attacks – that are gradually become more desperate and less dangerous – begin launching counter combinations. When timed properly and done with enough accuracy, you’ll not only irritate him, but you’ll actually strike fear and anxiety into him. That may sound weird seeing as though he ate Cotto’s and Margarito’s punches like M&Ms, but those were done whilst knowing his own punches were getting through and landing. When he can’t even get close enough to score without eating counters, he gets disturbed very easily.

Ultimately, the key is making him miss and putting him on a leash. That’s when he’s less threatening and can easily be out-thought.

Roach says so much ****, man... He said he was laying a bet on Pac stopping Cotto in the first round or something, didn't he? $1,000? You know he's always playing games. He eats this stuff up. He may overestimate Manny more than underestimate anyone else no matter what trash he talks.

Prediction: I'm high on Bradley and have been supporting him a while now but I can't quite make it over to him getting Pac. Unless of course...the evil leg cramp monster is still hiding under Pac's bed! :yikes

Pac, on the cards, probably rightfully, but wider than the judges should score it is my bet.

Not forgetting, just didn't say. :hat

Yeah, it's a good fight. I wish it were at 140, just for the sake of the light welterweight title, even though both guys come in about 148, weight class regardless. The welterweight title will be nice if Bradley wins, though.

Now, what's your prediction on the fights I mentioned? Ortiz and Castillo VS Pac and Clottey and Margo VS Mayweather?

Pacquiao showed up Mayweather this time. Pac was willing to do the May fight for 50/50, more than May deserves based on their relative drawing powers, and May found a way not to do the fight. Then May takes on a guy Pac has beaten by KO. May will decision Cotto and pick up another nice paycheck. Cotto is too short, stands too square, and all May has to do is watch out for the left.

Pac is taking on the much riskier challenge. Bradley is an undefeated, young, prime, well rounded fighter who has skill, enough pop to get respect, and enough speed, defense, and subtleties of the game, as well as experience against both fast and strong fighters, including southpaws, that this will be a real fight for Pac.

Good points. An almost perfect post.

    You forgot 13 and 14.

    Bradley is slick and black.:yep

Pac's opponent here is much more challenging than Floyd's, and this should be the more interesting and exciting bout of the two.

Pac will be looking to dispel some of the criticism from his perceived weak performance against Marquez. I expect him to go for the KO.

    And to get it.

Good post on the TS part! I think you may have called it already-

With that said, if I were to put money on it, I'd take Pacquiao..

    Good post....

I think Bradley has all the tools to beat Manny, but I think its too early. More than likely they will fight at 144 and I dont think Bradley will be able to handle the power that Manny has. Plus I think Manny has a lot to prove to his fans and himself, after 2 consecutive subpar performances.

But Bradley is a throwback fighter and can surprise Manny with his technical ability and possibly win.
