I scored the fight 120-108. Obviously with no 10-8 rounds.

I hope that Vitali fights on for a long time after seeing a performance like that.

 

It was so one-sided, so dominant that one would almost score every round from 6 till 12 a 8-10 round...

 

When watching it live, I felt Briggs was OK to continue.

He stopped Sergei in the twelfth while far behind on the cards.


But having rewatched it today, I think the ref was borderline negligent in letting it go past 10.

That was worse than Holmes-Cobb.

 

I know, and somehow Vitali still got the win!

Whoever paid those judges off should be beaten to death.

Same here. No robbery at all. Close fight, that could also be scored in favour of Briggs.

I had it 120-105 as well. Don't remember the exact rounds I scored 10-8, but there were a few of them that were brutal. There was one round I contemplated scoring 10-7.

 

you could score round 7, 10 and 12 @ 10-8 because it was just a downright beating, maybe even round 9. I believe all 3 judges had it 10-8 for round 7.

 

7 was a 10-8 round, so was 10.

 

I do not remember a scoring like that. It was a total domination.

 

Briggs himself was nuts to tell his team to not take him out of the fight and let him stay in. What's the point? He rather stutter for the rest of his life rather than have a UD L instead of a TKO L? For Christ's sake.
