Pac has a good chin. The question mark would be Donaire's. He would definitely get hit repeatedly by Pac, because he gets hit repeatedly when his opponents decide to let their hands go. We know Pac takes a decent shot. We don't know if Donaire does.
the styles really do not suit pac in this one, donaire has the footwork to really frustrate manny. donaire hasn't faced anyone like manny though, interesting one.
Thing is, I'm fairly sure Pacquaio's chin > Donaire's. Pacquaio will probably be able to take Donaire's a lot more than Donaire can take Pacman's.
Pacquiao will wipe the floor with Donaire. Pacquiao was unbeatable at 122. I think every win was a KO. Reason being is no matter how unbridled He was, his speed was otherworldly at this weight. Once He moved up, his speed decreased even at 126.
Yeah but He thinks Hes flash as He probably gave himself that nickname. Compared to Pac speed at 122 no contest and at 122 Pac was one of the few in History who had 1 punch power. Gomez being the other.
Donaire and Pac actually sparred back in 2001. I wish there was some footage of those sessions. 'Donaire said he had difficulties sparring Pacquiao because he could not figure out the latters rhythm and timing. You know fighting here, we kind of look for patterns and we tend to look for timing, and when I sparred Manny the first time, there was no timing. It was just a bunch of punches coming at you, he narrated.' ( http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/10/15/12/donaire-recalls-sparring-pacquiao ) '"I was 108, he was 122 before the Ledwaba fight. He came up to my parents and said, 'Your kid has a lot of potential,'" Donaire said of Pacquiao. Donaire said he and Pacquiao sparred at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California. "He was helping me out a lot, fighting lefties, which I didn't understand back then. It was a great help and learning experience," he added. "That's why he was teaching me all that stuff back then, because he did see a lot of potential in me." Donaire said he did "pretty well" in sparring against Pacquiao, who was a world champion at the 112-pound division at the time. "With my speed, it was something on par with his speed. So I did pretty well in that sparring, but I didn't go beyond that," he said.' ( http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/10/20/11/manny-recognized-my-potential-says-donaire )
Very interesting. I was thinking Donaire would win but now given Pac's speed, unorthodoxness and granite chin, I can see him overpowering Donaire.
i would have to go with UD for Donaire, Pac is raw at 122 while Donaire is a seasoned elite fighter. Manny would be frustrated with Nonito's movement. I dont see a stoppage for either guy as Donaire has a granite chin (never been KD) as does Pac
