I’ll go Wilfredo on points. Gomez isn’t anywhere near the destroyer at 126 that he was at 122, but Cowdell isn’t a difficult puzzle to solve nor difficult target to hit and Wilfredo has a vastly superior arsenal at his disposal. Fairly one-sided, with Cowdell having a good round here or there.
I think this would have been a good fight for Wilfredo too, to defend first before taking on Nelson. At least that would have put 100,000 extra dollars on his bank,and given him one extra trophy for his trophy case and a successful defense at Featherweight! Plus a side trip to England maybe, a workation! lol
