Some serious dudes at the first fight, James Jeffries refereeing the fight, Battling Nelson seconding Attell, Jim Kelly looking after Moran.

Azuhma Nelson doesn’t deserve to be there he made his name off Gomez. He lost to Mario Martinez the first time around and could only win against an injured Martinez, mind you Mario stole rounds with one hand. A past it Jeff Fenech schooled him the first time around as well.

How is Manny Pacquiao in the top 10 at Featherweight when he only had 3 fights in the division ? he had 1 win over Barrera and a controversial draw vs Marquez yet he's top 10 for that ? over Pedroza who made 19 title defences ? that boggles the mind.

19 title defenses fighting mostly stiffs. When he stepped up in competition they were very close fights. Never defeated the beat of his era

pacquiao dominated a hall of Famer in his prime and should have been awarded a decision (3 knockdowns) over another hall of Famer in his prime

Well i didn't think Pacquiao beat Marquez in their 1st meeting, nor did alot of people. Yes i agree one of the judges made an error scoring it 10-7, but that still wouldn't of altered the fact it was a highly controversial decision, which alot of people thought Marquez won including myself.

And at that time in Pacquiao's career i wouldn't rate him H2H over Pedroza either, so i don't see any logical reason. How a fighter with only 3 fights in the division, with only 2 official wins can be rated above a fighter like Pedroza.

Was Pedroza better than a prime MAB? Doubt it

get your eyes checked on that pacquaio-marques I scorecard . And yes Pac-Man wins if they have a good judge who knows all the rules!

I don't need to "Get my eyes checked" on anything, Pacquiao vs Marquez 1 was a very close fight. And Marquez has a very good argument for winning 8 rounds to win the fight 113-112.

Was Pedroza better than MAB ? Overall MAB has better career if they both fought at Featherweight ? debatable. But what has that got to do Pacquiao vs Pedroza ? styles make fights and Pedroza would have a very good chance, of beating a Featherweight version of Pacquiao who was more one dimensional back then.

I ask again how does 1 win overwrite Pedroza's whole career at Featherweight ? i just don't see your logic how can you rate Pacquiao above Pedroza at Featherweight.

It's not really a division I know a lot about, but I'll give it a quick shot off the top of my old head:

    01: Willie Pep
    02: Vincente Saldivar
    03: Sandy Sadler
    04: Johnny Kilbane
    05: Salvatore Sanchez
    06: Abe Attell
    07: Freddie Miller
    08: George Dixon
    09: Henry Armstrong
    10: Juan Marquez

    HM: Terry McGovern

My order is very flexible in a lot of spots.

to me splitting hairs on that one, but I give Saldivar a slight edge…I wouldn’t argue someone who has it different…but both are top 5 locks to me.
