Calzaghe fans ran the Kesslerites off the board.

 Boring spoiler? I think you may be in for a big suprise. I'd like Joe to win but Hopkins I think is a deserved favourite. Definately good news that the fight is happening.

I personally think Hopkins is anything but a favourite. He will give Calzaghe a few scares but ultimately will be outworked and will drop a UD to the Welshman.

I agree. When was the last time that bhop did anything other than run around the ring. He is the most over-rated fighter ever. His style is non existant. He is a complete bore.

JC will expose him. Bhop is nothng but a great bug plop.

tell me honestly jeff. and take the love of a pure boxing display out of it, when was the last time you were excited during a hopkins fight?
when was the last time he let it go and traded?
his last fight against wink was terrible, he held, butted, elbowed and spoiled his way to a decision.
    he is a boring spoiler:deal
albiet i do admire his ringcraft and cleverness.

Agreed. If Calzaghe doesn't beat Borenard, then I know nothing at all about boxing

Got to think, even with his skills, Bernard will be a little past it for a calibre of fighter like Calzaghe. Sure he could work some sweet counters still but he's in danger of being totally outworked here.

Bernard from 2-3 years ago would've made this much closer.

Still, this should be a good one and a very big atmosphere.

I can see Joe winning a UD in a very boring fight. Hopkins will try and spoil all night you all know it.

    Got to agree.

Although I think this fight is probably 2 years to late, its still the best fight for Calzaghe to take at this stage...hopefully this could lead to the winner of Pavlik/Taylor.

I enjoyed the Tarver fight it was absolutely beautiful watching him take tarver apart. The Trinidad fight was entertaining and if you want to see him rading watch the Antwun Echols fight. The reason I like watching Hopkins i his adaptability- its fascinating seeing how he exploits his opponents weaknesses and gets on top.... I think the reason I like Hopkinsso much is if you watch him in his younger days he was crude and dull unlike many fighters who had that extra bounce and snap when they were younger and mixing at a lower level. Hopkins has literally learned how to be a pound for pounder and that for me is massively impressive. Your right about the Winky fight though that was ****
