    No, it's not great news.
    Any boxer dying is very sad news.

    You're making claims that the boy was fighting adults, and since age 8 ?
    If you can't substantiate those claims you shouldn't make them.

    Sad story.

    Dont know if this kid was an orphan or not but my wife read on a thai website his patents were dead and he fought to make money or maybe that was the opponent.

    Least the goverment there is looking into it, though any action will probably force it underground and unsanctioned.

    Any stats on combat sport deaths worldwide ?
