13 Yrs Ago Today Barrera Humbled Hamed !

Basically Naz was winning the chess match on natural talent alone but wasn't in any kind of condition physically and so tired and lost snap down the stretch, where Barrera finally opened up a bit.

 

Hamed took his style from the magician that was Herol Graham. Ryan Rhodes, Johnny Nelson and Junior Witter also had that style. (All from the same gym)

 

So I scored the fight a DRAW.

Barerra dominated the 12th which on my card would have gave him a clear win 116-112.

But the foul and the 10 pt must system gives Hamed the 12th, 114-114.:think

 

UGH, no losing a point to a foul doesn't give the other guy a round. If the winner of the round gets a point deducted the round is scored 9-9.

 

Yup, just how I scored it.

But.....to his detriment, Hamed's offbalance style made it appear that every shot Barerra landed cleanly had him hurt.

Also, Barrera threw more to the body and those scored as power shots, although, Hamed was NEVER hurt to the body in the fight.

I won't take credit away from Barerra, he was the better man on the night, but only Hamed haterz will point to this fight as an EXPOSURE.

Hamed was the goods, and it's pathetic that haterz ran a potential ATG away from the sport.

Hamed vs Pacqioua wouldve been epic. Hamed vs Morales. EPIC. Hamed vs Marquez. EPIC. Mayweather.....EPIC KO win for Hamed.deal:deal

A good fighter with great punching power and poor technique. He fought poor opposition and was exposed when he fought a real technician in Barrera. People try to act like he was some sort of hall of fame fighter who just had a bad night against Barrera, but thats not the case. What Barrera did to him, morrales, Paquior,Marquez and Chris John would have also done to him. What hall of famer did Hamed beat?

 

You must love him to bring him up at every possible opportunity,even on threads that have nothing to do with him

The 12 round wouldn't be made into a 10 - 9 Hamed round.

I believe it would be score 10 (-1) Barrera 9 Hamed.

Point deduction subtracted after the round is scored.

 

Thank God you're not a boxing judge. Not even Hammed Loyal fan had him winning that fight. But good try though.

 

Still haven't watched that fight again.
