The need for this fight is obvious. The conclusion of a classic trilogy. Who cares about the bums at 135 and who wants to see Pacquiao (a great fighter) step up to weights he doesn't belong in? He needs to assert his greatness at 130 and he has unfinished business with Juan Manuel Marquez. Lets do this already. Bad management and promotion. - Jason
What I am concerned about is the JMM age factor. The ideal situation would be for this to happen post Pac/Diaz -- but I see talk of Hatton, or even DLH. This talk is nonsense and would effectively ruin the career of a legendary fighter who belongs at a lower weight class, and has another legendary nemesis waiting for him RIGHT NOW. - Jason
i really hope it does happen the last fight left so many questions because although pac won it wasnt really that decisive
If JMM steps up to the plate and fight for a belt at 135 . . . then it's gonna happen . . . if he doesn't . . . Campbell, Juan Diaz or Casa will be a better choice for team Pac. So team JMM better put their shits together and fight Campbell on August as Campbell desires.
who doesnt?? remember, jmm is getting older by the minute. it will be unfortunate, but expected, if the pacterons use his age as an excuse. what else is new?
JMM may be getting older but after so many fights and quite a few wars Pac is heading towards his sharp decline so I don't think JMM's age is a legit excuse for anyone.
