imagine if they had met with lewis being even a bit better, or the ref hadnt saved vitali - poor vitali might well have been retired for life.

 

Fantastic fight, fond memories. IMO it really took 14 years since we got another blockbuster with lots of drama in Wlad vs. AJ. These two fights really delivered.

Yep I remember reading about that too. They also said Lewis' extra weight was NOT a concern because they knew Klitschko was coming in at a solid 245-250 and was one of the physically strongest fighters they had faced.
