Crawford = very good but not good to watch... and then ... theres no one.. awful division .. a wasteland.

Probably Lipinets is the 2nd best

140 has been weak for many years when you had bums like Kotelnik, Rees, Mbaye, Khan, etc picking up titles... But right now its weaker than it ever has beem.

Crawford used to be fun as hell to watch. I didn't mind his Postol fight since Postol poses a threat and if you can win a fight like that then do whatever to win. I didn't even find it to be too boring, but I would have liked it if he tried to finish Postol towards the end. The Molina fight on the other hand...Molina isn't good. Crawford should have just sparked him out quickly. He got the knockout in that one, but it wasn't an exciting performance. Maybe he'll do better next time.

But yeah, 140 isn't too good. The biggest problem is that 140 had already been pretty much cleared out and the guys that did it moved up to 147. That's where Crawford should fight if he wants the big money fights. He's big enough for it, but if he wants to unify a division that's fine. It's kind of frustrating though since 147 is where the good fights are. It isn't like Golovkin staying at 160 since aside from DeGale and MAYBE Ramirez there aren't any big fights there and Zurdo may not even be a huge fight. The Canelo fight however is a huge payday for him if it goes through.

Basically I want Crawford to be exciting again and move to 147!

    Ca
Canelo is essentially Money Jr. Jr..
He is the only money fight 2 divisions above him and 2 below him. He is now officially bigger than the belts.
2 reasons: He fought a bigger star and great match making against big named, non threatening opponents.

I agree with this, but I wouldn't say he's the only money fight. DeGale in the UK is a huge fight and Golovkin himself is a big name. Actually I wouldn't be surprised at all if they ended up having a fight this year or next.

Don't be mad. Gamboa moved up to fight a bigger guy and went out gloriously on his shield in an epic battle. If you want to be mad, be mad at Gamboa's choice of handlers. Had he put forth a small effort to learn a little english and fought more often, he had the style to break through in the US and be a star. He traded it for pride, bad management and a yellow Lamborghini. Be mad about that.

I aint mad.. I agree with what your saying. Gambia is pure excitement thats why I like him.. Should have achieved more and been a bigger name, but still his Chin would have let him down so he was never gonna be a hall of famer anyway I don't think

Him vs Lipinets and Garcia in 2018 can make for great fights. 147 isn't very hot right now either, especialy if Brook moves to 154.

What the **** are you on about? 147 is filled with big names. Spence, Berto, Garcia, Thurman, Pacquiao, Bradley, Porter, Vargas.
Matthysse, Brook and Khan also linger but are MIA.
In comparison 140 has Crawford, Postol, Broner and Burns. Of course you have Lipinets but he is an unknown(but he will be known when he sparks the winner of Burns-Indongo)

More than half of the guys you mentioned are on their way out. And if Brook leaves too, It'll only leave Spence and Thurman, and I'm not sure if either of them would be a more interesting opponent than Mikey Garcia, which I think is the fight Bud will be fishing for.
