No i was trolling. I talked to Phillips at wild card a few times and they (ktsyta) turned the rematch down which is one of the main reasons Vince moved up. He wanted the Oscars and the Ktostya but unfrtunately got the Ike's.
KT is in any realistic conversation for GOAT at 140. How nice of you to make Broner wait a year or two before you choose him over KT lol It's easy to forget how young the average ESB'er is, and how many weren't around for the heydays of KT or SRL or guys like that. KT was a ****ing monster in his time.
kostya tyzu was sidestepped from all the greats...they even say it openly!!! kosta was a boxers boxer....he was so good too watch the way he stalked his enemy!
He also got Terron Millett. My understanding is that rematch was being talked about but lost it's luster after Vince took a few L's. The fight with Sharmba was also supposed to be a boxoff for who gets KT. You can't make too many excuses for that fight. Vince looked fantastic and took hellish punishment but he got the job done. KT had some complaints about his camp for that fight but it is what it is. Even the best can have a bad night.
Again, totally unfair on Broner. One of the genuine ATG's at 140,against a guy who's never fought at the weight. I don't like some of Broner's antics, but he gets people talking and is not short of abilty.Let's consider this in four or five year's time. Some of the drivel you see Kostya getting on ESB is quite alarming. He's one of the true greats of the last 15 years and was rarely lacking in excitement. First of all I'm probably older than most on his board, and I have not forgotten Tszyu, and while I did not see all of his fights, I know he was the unified champ at 140. But I've seen it way too often, when comparing past greats to possible future greats, there's an overwhelming bias to those who have established they legacies as opposed to those who are still building, and some of it is understandable. However styles make fights, and any and all fighters can be beaten just as Tszyu was, and Broner most likely will be (if he sticks around long enough). What's funny to me is how people come in here and act like they are the tell all of boxing, and there opinion is the only one that counts, just my opinion.
In other words you like to give your opinion BUT only if nobody makes any comments that expose it as, shall we say, less than astute?
Tszyu would make ODLH his ultimate ***** and destroy him. I like Broner you either love or hate him. I love him, because his style is fan friendly but with that said the only Welterweights of today i would give a chance against Tszyu has to be Mayweather & Pacman. He'll destroy the rest
So your saying a guy thats never been tested would take at Super Featherweight would take probably the most Powerful guy at 140 all times shots. OK. Last time I checked also and Im a huge fan the only style to give Tszyu trouble was the Phillips Hatton type all over type style. The smothering type guy. Broner has not got this style. His style is more like a orthodox Judah. If were being honest with each other theres some more facts. Oh But Judah was winning the fight well Yeah he won the first round but did we all see what happened in the 2nd. Look at Judah's Losses in comparison to Tszyu's. In Judah's Prime he lasted 2 rounds against Tszyu 3 years later he lost to Spinks in 12 rounds UD 5 years later he lost to Baldomir in 12 rounds UD 5 years later he lost to Mayweather in 12 rounds UD 6 years later he lost to Cotto by TKO 11 7 years later he lost to Clottey in 9 round TD Then some 10 years later the closest to get to Tszyu was Amir Khan when he beat him by 5th round KO. 10 Years Later and still a guy like Khan could only beat Judah in 5 rounds. Could you imagine a Prime Tszyu against the 140 guys today. not even 2 rounds it took him to work Judah out. A Prime Judah aswell. I mean even Cotto a mean ass Power Puncher and great fighter could spark Judah in 2 rounds.
Tzyu would make Boner do the chicken dance. Easy work for KT who picks him apart systematically before he knocks him out brutally. Leaving the bronetards crying like bitches while looking at a pic of Broner taking a dump.
Zoo is arguably one of the most overrated fighters on this forum. He was good but not some boxing God like his fans make him out to be. I would favor a number of fighters at 140 over him historically.
