I'm not sure if this thread has been done, but this match has intrigued me more than any dream matchup in history. I wanted to ask the most knowledgeable boxing posters in this forum who would win?

There are plenty of more seasoned boxing minds than mine, but I would have to go with Pryor on this. He was a no stop action fighter, but he used angles way more than Armstrong therefore harder to hit.

    Armstrong.

Armstrong wasn't as easy to tag with a clean punch due to his head movement on the way in, could match Pryor in terms of stamina and work rate, and arguably was a harder puncher than the Hawk. I see him grinding out a tough, but clear UD in a predictably awesome fight.

I've never seen Pryor slow down in a fight and Armstrong I know has not slowed down in his prime. But I did see signs of Pryor getting weaker during the first Arguello fight
