with these guys. alexander bradley khan maidana ortiz koltenik urango campbell malignagi matthyse My opinion I see khan winning it all maidana and urango got punchers chances of getting far but I dont see any of the 2 getting lucky. the 2 are a threat for anyone. If nate cambell is at his A game he will make it far in this tournament Depending on how good victor ortiz heart is he is a legit threat in this competition Malignagis great reflexes and chin will take him far.
He just lost to a nobody. So he shouldnt be in here. This really all depends on the way they are matched up though. Whats the format. I would really love to see a tournament made for this weight class. This guys dont really require as much money and the winner would be a star. I dont know why HBO isnt getting this done.
I'd tip Bradley to come out of the tournament on top. He's the most versatile, skilled, and he's tough as hell. Nate Campbell is FINISHED. He wouldn't win a single one of those fights as his A game now is a fraction of what it used to be.
If every1 wanna replace nate campbell so bad the replacement should be matthysse. In my mind mattthyse beat judah. He wud be an ok replacement to join the 9 other guys
I still think alexander would win it all. He didn't look that good vs kotelnik but i think he could beat maidana-khan and bradley.
There's already a semi-type tournament of sorts at 140, with Khan-Maidana and Bradley-Alexander, which most people see as the top four in that division. There will no doubt be demand for the winners to fight each other. I think Khan takes it. And I'd favor him in a super six tournament with Kotelnik and Ortiz added. Bradley would be my second favorite.
140 is a solid division but nothing extraordinatry. the hype it gets as one of boxing most talent filled divisions is absurd.
That's how I see the seeds being 1. bradley 2. khan 3. alexander 4. maidana 5. koltenik 6. ortiz 7. matthyse 8. urango 9. malignagi 10. judah I guess Malignagi and Judah can be a wild card and fight Urango and Matthyse for the last spots Bradley v Judah/Malignagi Maidana v Koltenik Alexander v Ortiz Khan v Urango/Matthyse
