    Pryor was a superb talent ... he did have over 60 amateur fights .. the wy he went through Cervantes was insane ... Pryor was a force of nature ...

    Oh I agree bit if I'm being honest I'm not so sure Pryor takes Cervantes if Cervantes was near to his prime.
    If I recall people actually placed Cervantes age at the time of the Pryor bout to be actually around FORTY and that was an ancient age to be fighting at especially back then.
    And Pryor had much more then 60 amateur bouts more like in the HUNDREDS he was a top amateur for awhile.

    Yes Cervantes was older, past his best but he was still champion. I think it's the way Pryor took him out that was impressive. Similar to maybe the way Tyson took apart Holmes. Nobody else was able to do it quite that way.
