I don't have a problem with this fight given Algeri is coming off a big win over Provodnikov and showed a ton of talent. Though it's not really PPV worthy.

What I do have a problem with is the mentioned weight. There isn't any reason why Pac couldn't go down to 140 for this. I'd rather see him at that weight or lower anyway.

Floyd was 2 pounds over the agreed upon weight against JMM. Same as Pac when he was the bigger guy against Torrecampo. Difference is Pac got KTFO and even cheated by using unapproved gloves. No wonder *******s defended Maidana so much. FACT!

Pac has been doing catchweight over his entire career. FACT!

Using that logic, Pac should just fight T. Crawford instead.

Then a club fighter beat someone that isn't a nobody, and by that you mean Provodnikov should be at Algieri's "club" level? :huh

There is a reason he's not going to move down to 140 for this and it's clear. He has been a Welterweight for six years, moving down to 140 all of a sudden WILL have an affect on him and I don't care what people say about his "walking around" weight or what Roach says about him being able to make 130 if he wanted. If your body got used to a certain weight, especially athletically, for too long, moving down a full division will most definitely have a serious effect.

99.9% agree. Algeri hasn't proven himself yet. He did beat a guy better than club level though.
