#1 - he was never hurt the least little bit by Quintana. Not even remotely close. That's a bunch of utter bull****. #2 - Against Margarito he was never stunned. He was stung mostly by one of the body shots, but he was never once dazed in that fight. Not once. It's all over YouTube. Go ahead and look at that infamous Round 11, and you won't be able to pint out when he was dazed. #3 - he has never in his career touched the damn canvas. So which one is it? He has a terrible defense or he has 'just on OK' chin? Do tell. I'm all ears.
lol @ pac. And not to get sidetracked, but has anyone heard any news about Kirkland? Is he pretty much ruined for good?
Rocked =/= hurt. However you dont get hit with those kind of punches and not be hurt. He was hurt. Even if he didnt show it, his output fell and he started to wrap up. sign of a hurt fighter. I agree, he wasnt stunned, however he was hurt or at the very least affected by being caught with about 30 straight flush shots. His out put fell, he started to move all around the ring, and clinched the most I've ever seen Williams clinch in his life. Ok, he has a good, not ok, but not great chin. Certainly not granite. Of course the only reason we know this because he's been hit with so many flush shots. Largely the product of a poor defense. You mean his weaknesses? Go watch the Quintana fight. Its basically a blueprint on how to beat Williams. He doesnt use his jab well enough. A fighter with his speed, power and range should be able to win fights throwing nothing but jabs and never be touched. He gives up his strengths by fighting on the inside thus nuetralizing his god given gifts. And he has a poor defense. He gets caught flush regularly.
I hope a lot of other fighters use that Quintana gameplan. They will meet the same fate he did.... A ****in beatdown. You might be one of the few people nowadays who think that Quintna fight is completely indicative of how he fights right now. If he was so ****in easy to outbox, why don't some of these boxing supermen and ****in messiahs use him as a tune-up? Exactly.
Hitting the canvas is not indicative of how poor a fighters defense is. :nut If he gets caught like he got caught against Margarito against a fighter like Mosley, he's ****ed. If he doesnt learn to use is jab and his range, a fighter like Floyd will have a field day countering him just like Quintana did. Damn, you act like im calling him a scrub. I basically said 2 guys have a chance of beating him from 147-154. :rofl 2 out of like 30 guys lol.
Mosley, Mayweather, Forrest, and possibly Cotto. With that tall, thin body as a target, Cotto has to have some success.
Think about what you saying. On one hand you say he has a shitty defense. And he gets hit woth flush bombs often... Then you say he doesn't really have a great chin. But he ain't never been dazed... not even slightly. Never close to being KD'ed. So which one is it? It can't be both. :huh My opinion? He has a shitty, ever-improving defense, and a granite chin. And every fight he improves. Yeah he got hit a few times against Winky... Last time I checked, it was boxing. He's bound to catch a few shots every now and then. Nothing like the Quintana I fight. That was his first fight against a decent level southpaw. Trust me, he learned more that fight than he has his entire career.
I think he can beat them all. The ones that test or maybe win are Forrest, Clottey, Martinez, Cintron, Dzindiruk, Spinks
