147 is the most disappointing division in boxing.

How can we have 4/5 elite fighters in the same division and they don't want to fight each other? We are missing out on exciting fights because we have to put up with constant negotiation bull****. I don't understand why errol spence has to drag Mikey Garcia up from 135 when there are so many 50/50 matchups around him. We need to see these fights before the fighters get out of their prime and we need to start demanding better matchups.

 

If Mikey wants it though. Crawfords a better match up, but there's not many at 147 i'd pick as 50/50 against him if any !

 

Taylor when he moves up i'd be interested to see. Great talent and spiteful with it !

 

Maybe not 50/50 but there are competitive matchups in which he has a chance of losing; porter, garcia, thurman and crawford and maybe a kell brook rematch.

 

Spence did drag anyone he was called out by Garcia. Runtime don’t want it til 2020 both he and porter said they wanna wait to fight him. Khan get sparked. Bob father ain’t putting Bud in with him. Spence is high risk low reward

 

Errol Spence did not seem to keen on fighting Crawford either judging by their confrontation, he is running around calling himself the boogeyman. He should make Crawford an offer and expose who is ducking the fight so we can apply pressure.

 

Who are these 5? Not Americans are they? Cuz we all know how hard it is to get them to fight the best.

 

Heavyweight is even more disappointing because there aren't 4-5 elite fighters that are ducking each other.

 

Keith Thurman hasn't fought in 3 years, he's not in the equation until next month once he actually fights again.
Errol Spence didn't call out Mikey, Mikey called him out (better to fight someone than sit around), The
Crawford fight is gonna be hell to make because of Arum.

Crawford may or may not be in the top 2 of the division, but Arum guides his career and
doesn't want him in with another promotion, he'd rather milk Crawford under his own banner. You
can't blame Spence or Crawford for that.

Shawn Porter is at least staying active and biding his time (far better than sitting on the shelf). And
all of his competition have been "name" opponents. He's doing what he's supposed to.

 

Low reward? He's the number 1 fighter in the division and highly ranked p4p.

Beating him is incredibly rewarding!

 

There is no way you could call Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter or Keith Thurman 'elite'

 

The top 5 clearly don't wanna face each other.

So I think the best fights in the division will prove to be ones ( unknowledgeable fans) won't expect to be good fights. Alexander Besputin is ranked number 1 by the WBA and is a very good talent, so it's likely the WBA will order Besputin - Thurman. I think Besputin would probably give an inactive overrated Thurman a beating.

Egidijius Kavaliauskas and Kerman Lejarraga are ranked very high too.

Probably the best fights are gonna be Thurman vs Besputin, Crawford vs Kavaliauskas, Porter vs Lejarraga.

 

Keith Thurman is number one based on wins and competition and I don’t even like Thurman like that. That’s just being an adult and being non bias. And yeah Spence is low reward high risk which is why all the Top welters are ducking

 

Thurman is inactive, no way I rank him above Spence.

Spence is very high reward, beat him and you claim to be the best.

I don't care what any welders do, it's the boxers I'm bothered about.

 

You have Floyd Mayweather to thank for this. Everyone doesn't want to face a good fighter anymore, as long as they can get paid fighting guys they're levels above. All the excitement is at middleweight and heavyweight right now. Only one who has taken any challenges the last couple of years was Thurman and he didn't even fight this year.

Oh and I suspect Spence uses PEDs. It's bad when Victor Conte calls you out.
