williamz would be a big threat to mayweather and thuz mayweather would not fight him at this stage of hiz career williamz would present a real problem for floyd as the height, reach and size advantage would be a difficult obstackle for him to deal with, one that he haznt had to deal with before
Mayweather. Paul Williams is no longer a WW and couldnt make 147 if you paid him 50 million, therefore this is nothing more than a fantasy match.
I dunno...good matchup...floyd matches up well with all the top guys from the past and present...ill take floyd ud but paul would be hell for floyd
Paul Williams. Just too much to be honest. The guy isn't just huge, he uses his size 110%, he uses his reach, extremely active, has serious skills for someone that big, VERY fast and has serious power. Of course I would expect his activity to be lower fighting a defensive fighter but I still see him throwing and landing more punches. I'm picking Williams here.
:nono His trainer just said in a recent interview that Paul's weight was in the mid 150's and that he could still make 147 easy.
Mayweather. Paul Williams would be a corpse trying to make 147 now anyway. They would have to fight @ 154 and Williams needs to build a bigger name. Mayweather's skill should win unless Williams somehow stole rounds w/ "workrate."
His trainer is full of it. Yes, he said that and then a few weeks later he is fighting Marintez @ 160 instead of 154? :huh
I'm not going to say my pick here (Though I have a pick). I was wondering though, does anyone think Paul Williams handspeed is slightly overrated? Not suggesting anything except that his hands aren't that fast. He's a beast though.
Martinez wasn't willing to stake his belt so their wasn't any point to fight there considering he was already preparing himself to fight at 60.
