They seem fast enough for a guy with arms as long as his, but in absolute terms I don't think they are that fast. My biggest concern about Paul is that he really doesn't use his size as well as he could sometimes. He tends to give away his size and reach to fight at mid range or in close a lot more often than he ought to. He gets away with it because he's actually pretty good at throwing on the inside but I think that may cost him against a good, compact inside fighter.
Well -- let's ask one simple question; is Mayweather better than Quintana? As far as PW making the 147 pound limit, George Peterson says Paul is looking to return to welterweight, and will not stay at 160 for a fight with KP.
ref stop the fight....no action takes place after 4rounds floyd will run & williams chase him for first 4rounds
It depends. Can Williams box off his back foot for 12 rounds if the answer is yes he will win. Williams has a 10 inch reach advantage over Mayweather. He would be able to out jab him. It would not be an exciting fight. However with his size advantage Williams has the leavrage to score a ko. If Williams can't box for 12 rounds the fight is in Mayweather's favor. lso how dose William's body adjust to 147 after spending the last year at 154 & 160?
I'd favor Mayweather slightly even if they had to make it at 154. Williams is one of the few legitimate threats that Mayweather could fight if only he would.
Paul Williams will win for sure, that's why Floyd retired early because of the threats in the division "Cotto, Mosley, Margarito and Williams". He doesn't really want to his "0" become L1 lol.
