Rodolfo Gonzalez v Chango Carmona - never allowing the slugger off of the back foot
Alexis Arguello v Vilomar Fernandez I - staying on the bike and boxing in and out
Benitez v Palomino - counter-punching off the ropes

 

Yes, although after taking a beating at the beginning of 1st fight he adjusted quickly and put up masterful performance too.

Mike McCallum versus Milton McCrory. Mike starts off trying to force the issue, falls behind after six rounds, switches up his tactics and becomes the counter-puncher, taking McCrory apart before stopping him. Great performance of adaptation.

Arguello versus Ganigan. Similar to the above, but in reverse.

Whitaker-McGirt I. Just a high level of technical proficiency maintained for twelve rounds.

Lionel Rose against Harada. Beautiful masterclass in how to contain an aggressive, come-forward fighter without having great power of their own to dissuade them. Textbook jabbing, countering, anticipation and footwork.

 

Yeah, I should have mentioned Rose against Harada. Don't know how I left it off.

 

Joe Brown's third fight between Bud Smith was a brilliant clinic.

Brown is vastly underrated.
