As good as Lewis was at that stage, I think he loses to Foreman, and to most any high class opposition. Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson, etc. Lennox was not good enough yet- And that's saying something considering how impressive he looked even early on. Just goes to show the difference between early and late versions of Lewis.
Not much of a match IMO. Lewis would be pulverised by Foreman’s jab. 1992 would be far more interesting.
Lewis was way too green at that point to be taking on a guy who negates most of his physical advantages. At that point, Lewis had what 5 pro fights? He'd be weaker and the lighter hitter. He'd also have far less experience, ring generalship, etc. About all he'd have in his favor at that point would be height, reach, and speed. No sane trainer would have let Lewis have fight someone of Foreman's caliber at that point. This is no slight on Lewis at all. He was just very green in 1990.
