As much as I think de la Hoya gets a bit overrated I do have to admit that he he won this fight even at times for the sake of debate I have taken the opposite view

you dont run for your life the last 2 or 3 rounds because you "think" you are way ahead.....unless you brutalize your opponent each round, its ignorant to think you can coast.....he got what he deserved

Watch the fight , its 12 rounds remember , Oscar outboxed and confused Felix easily for at least 8 rounds. Also just because he kept coming forward doesn't mean shite if you don't hit anything.

    On a really tough day its 7 - 5 Oscar. In reality it was 9 - 3.

Normal scoring, I'd give it to De La Hoya. But I awarded Trinidad two point rounds in those last ones where De La Hoya was just running away from him. I figured De La Hoya either should have been penalized or Trinidad should get the 10-8 by means of pressing the action and being completely dominant. Scored like that I had Trinidad up by a point at the end.

though i agree you should never run when you are ahead, it seems an awful lot like you say tito one just to "punish" delahoya for doing so and thats just not how boxing works. delahoya easily secured 7 rounds ... like at the veyr least 7 rounds

iv noticed you let your emotions get in the way sometimes iceman, though you can be a decent poster

Anyone who thinks Tito won DKSAB.

De La Hoya dominated the majority of the fight with faster hands, movement and rapid fire combinations.

I was rooting for Tito but he looked lost in there apart from the last few rounds when Oscar tired. Yes Tito may have been the bigger puncher but landing a couple of good shots doesn't win you the round when you've been out boxed for 2 and half minutes of a round. He never had De La Hoya hurt, landed about a 100 punches less was never in control and simply did not win.

Yes, me too. Unforunately, we were outvoted by the official judges.
