Actually I think Bugner had a tough style for Cooper, since he didn't leave himself exposed very often (like Roger "The Dodger" Rischer, who made a fool of a Cooper who should have done better) which would have been easier to deal with if Bugner had taken more chances. The key factor was that Bugner was too predictable and too guillible to deal with a crafty warhorse like Cooper, who picked his spots wisely. Considering Cooper's age, it's one of the most impressive British heavyweight performances of the pre-Lewis era.
