Dont be crazy, just because he can handle pac doesnt mean he can win vs margarito who is just too big for jmm.
I thought marquez won vs pac the last time but that doesnt make the A>C because A>B while B>C logic justified. Marquez would do well at 140 I think he can handle that but the 147 guys who weigh in at 160+ would be too big for him, even if marquez is a much greater boxer thats just realistic.
Well Marquez seemed to deal well with the 147 mark well V Pacquaio so him beating Margarito isnt impossible . . . although it would be interesting to see, a Mexican David V Golaith
Naturally bigger fighter, great chin, world class stamina, and non-stop pressure doesn't bode well for the smaller JMM. JMM would have to move every second of every round. Can his stamina hold up is the bigger question. If they were the same size (naturally) I would pick JMM every time.
147 is more realistic. 151 might be too big for Marquez; he'd have success early on, but the build-up his body would have to go through to maintain durability and a respectable punch might not effectively compliment the conditioning to keep boxing and countering and circling and slipping punches all night.
So it is that simple uh? I am not saying the fight could not happen. I said if it did I would still feel comfortable with Margarito getting beaten over 12. First of all he would be the slowest fighter JMM has faced and he is just so open that he would eat plenty of uppercut combinations. As we saw. Pac was very wary of JMMs power so I am sure Margarito would feel it as well.
Margarito might be too big and physically strong at junior middleweight, even though Marquez is about seventy-eight levels above him as a fighter.
Marquez wouldn't be able to escape him the way Manny did. It's a really tough call, but I'd have to favor Marquez. He's just so much better.
