151: Margarito vs JMM

Jmm weighs about 148 and Marg about 165 on fight. That's a huge difference. Jmm obviously picks Marg apart but the size difference is too much imo.

 

Marquez wouldn't try to escape him IMO he would just counter him all night, and stick his ground with waist and head movement, at this stage Margo would get beaten. Just how PAC got him out of a 2 year inactivity and no plaster, Marquez would get him at an even riper version to feast on him... LMAO

Marquez came in at 150 and Got pac's attention and worried about getting countered with that power he was carrying.Margo would get whooped on. His days are over. Since his plaster situation. All he is a name.

If Pacquaio can outbox Marg for 12 then why not Marquez? I mean maybe Marg could walk through Marquez's punches, there's that possibility.

 

There's that, there's also the fact that JMM probably would not be able to match Pacquiao's volume. Remember, little feather fisted Juan Diaz was able to trouble JMM badly when he was stalking him. If he had Margarito's chin, he may have won that fight.

Margarito does have Margarito's chin, but he's missing an eye.

 

Then there the possibility of Marquez working on that left eye and getting a TKO victory. So if Marquez TKO Margo... That's a better win then PAC"S:hey:rofl

Which means if you beat Margo you better then pac, if you lose to margo you below him :blood the mind of a *******.

 

JMM counter punches Margarito too death. At this stage of Margaritos career he is too slow and too battle worn.

A prime Margarito at 147 is a different question all together

 

Yeah a prime Margo definitely don't see JMM getting past him, the plaster version was a beast, and PAC would have been destroyed as well.

Hell the Margo now probably would not go the distance with JMM. More than likely a doctor stoppage again. You are talking about a guy who is wide open facing one of the most accurate combination punchers in the game. Also Margarito has the tendency to come in with his head down.
JMM is the king of uppercuts man. Serious damage would be done here.

I think the better fight would be the Margarito from the Pac fight. In that one I could see JMM winning a UD.

Also stop using the Diaz comparison. Diaz had very good speed and combinations he used while having much better defense than MArgarito. The styles are not the same at all other than both being volume punchers. You guys are also forgeting that Diaz did have a very good chin and JMM is the one who cracked it. First man to ever stop him. Actually only man to ever stop him.

Has anyone taken into account that JMM is an elite hard hitting counter puncher who prefers a fighter chase him. He has only ever had problems with boxers who sit back and wait for him. Margo is made for JMM not the other way around.

Marquez even at 38 is leagues above Margarito. Marquez used to fighting fighters that come forward a stoppage by Marquez probably wouldn't surprise me.

 

Better match up would be Martinez vs. David Haye at 205 pounds. Who wins
