From the comments I have seen coming from you it is hard to take you serious. But hey JMM kept Pac from lunging in all 12 rounds last fight and that is for a reason. Pac had no fear lunging in on Margo.

As I stated, he's MUCh bigger and his punches will have a greater effect. Defense is NOT JMM's strong suit anymore. He's adapted a much more fan friendly style since FW.

You're being completely unrealistic about all that. Juan Diaz who applies pressure, but doesn't hit a fraction as hard as Margarito does, was even on the score card because of JMM's decision to fight back more then play defense.

Mayorga doesn't have the skill many guys he's beat have dip****. He still beat one of the most skilled fighters in Vernon Forrest. TWICE.

Cotto is MUCH skilled and polished then Margarito, yet lost the first one.

It's not ONE is always better then the other little boy. There's variables that one has that can trump the other.

Marquez is the much more skilled fighter, but Margarito is just too big and has way too good of a chin and stamina. I don't see Marquez being able to hurt Margarito at all, and I see Marquez eventually falling victim to Margarito's relentless pressure.

 

He'd have to use movement to keep himself set and in position to return. And still, he'd be hitting a guy who'd likely not be that effected by them. Look at Cotto, he had to run into an open spot time and time again, yet Margarito was right there each time with pressure and punches. Staying in the pocket vs. a much bigger guy who hit way harder is what got Cotto in trouble. In the rematch, he moved A LOT more as he improved on it.

It wasn't only Juan Diaz's Pressure that resulted in Catching JMM in instances nor was it JMM so called UN-existant defense or strong suit as you say... it was more of a combination, Of Speed, Pressure and Combinations that was able to catch JMM but that's what happens when you face young Fighters that have something to prove.

On the other hand, Margarito is slow as ****, applies pressure yes, but is very slow and JMM will see him a mile away and counter him to great effect... IF JMM who has a great chin and Heart can take the few shots Margo will catch him with JMM by a wide margin... The WW Plaster VERSION destroys JMM and PAC with ease..

This version got outboxed by PAC, just Imagine what JMM would do, Probably counter and TKO his ass into retirement. If you believe JMM doesn't have the volume watch the Katsidis fight where Katsidis was more game then this version of Margo would ever be, all Margo has is a punchers chance.
