IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (58-3, 51 KO’s) doesn’t have to worry about a lack of fans coming to see him fight little known 32-year-old heavyweight contender Mariusz Wach (27-0, 15 KO’s) on on November 11th. According to Ringpolska, over 16,000 tickets have already been sold for the fight that will be held at the Or World Arena, in Hamburg, Germany.

Given that the O2 Arena only holds a little over 16,000 seats it appears that it’s already a sellout with about a month to go before the fight. That’s pretty impressive for Wladimir, because a fight like this would likely draw only flies if he tried to stage it in the United States.

That's nothing... Ricky Hatton sold 18.000 in the first 4 days against TBA. :bart

Seriously, it shows how big of a draw the Klits are in eastern Europe and the German speaking countries.

I think the O2 is the opposite side of the road to the football stadium, I presume it's because of the damage to the pitch while the season is on.

Good isn't the right word... more big and dangerous.
A huge, relatively slow big puncher with a enormous reach and a massive chin (in more than one sense of the word).
Don't let his KO% fool you, because he started out with a really low % but has stopped all his opponents in the last couple of years.

He actually sold 18,000 within the first 48 hours.

57,000 tickets against Lazcano when he was coming off a ko loss was incredible.

    Ricky 'cash money' Hatton indeed.

Wlad sold over 60.000 tickets in 2 days in 2009.

14.000 tickets in 2006 in one day.

Well for the first time in few years he gonna fight a guy who is cappable of punching him back, it's normal that people wanna see wlad with a guy who stands a chance against wladimir rather than boxers like haye or chambers.
