Now that Fedor has lost some of his aura of invincibility, it's time for another one of these. All fighters prime for prime.

(Matchups are fairly random; all UFC and PRIDE heavy- and open-weight champs included except Shane Carwin's interim title)

    BRACKET 1:

    Fedor Emelianenko
    Ricco Rodriguez

    BRACKET 2:

    Josh Barnett
    Andrei Arlovski

    BRACKET 3:

    Maurice Smith
    Frank Mir

    BRACKET 4:

    Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
    Randy Couture

    BRACKET 5:

    Brock Lesnar
    Bas Rutten

    BRACKET 6:

    Mark Coleman
    Tim Sylvia

    BRACKET 7:

    Mirko Crocop
    Junior Dos Santos

    BRACKET 8:

    Kevin Randleman
    Cain Velasquez

I excluded the "superfight" and openweight UFC tournament champions simply because I didn't have enough space in the 16-fighter brackets.

How do you see these going?

I think that Igor Vovchanchyn should get a seed.

  10. True.

Fedor already beat close to half those guys on that list anyway. Id love to see Fedor versus Igor. Very similar stylistically, both robots, and both have a vast experience over everyone else in that tournament. I want to see which version is better, Igor v1.0 (Igor) or Igorv2.0 (Fedor).
