I think sergio martinez has several good paying options, if he
can't land a Cotto/Margo winner or the big one. money or Pac,
at his own weight. The pole proksa just broke ground in the US
media with 2 well respected ranking systems in the RING + ESPN
because of his easy win over former champ sylvester. Now, add
in Andy Lee, dimitry pirog, and daniel geale, and sergio could see alot
of money and go down as a more regarded middle than even hopkins.
If serg beat super G, pirog, and Lee or geale, then his 160 lb resume
would **** all over nards 160 lb resume, plus serg would easily have
earned 7-8 mil over those 3 fights considering he's earning a mil and
a half fighting the barkers and such. also, these would all be great
fights that would attract quite a large audience. Granted, sergio would
earn more with a pac or money fight than all combined defenses at 160,
but does anyone frankly beleive he'll get those fights?
    I wanna see
    sergio v pirog
    sergio v proksa
    sergio v Lee
not so much sergio v geale

    Don't you?

He can end his career fighting all these contenders but will they all fight him. I think Geale could step it up and i wonder if Dibella will let Pirog step in the ring with Martinez. (one or twoo more good wins and he has a quite good record)
Then we have The Knife who arguably got robbed against Sturm. He is promoted by Dibella but his next fight wont be Martinez. Maybe they are building him up for Martinez ?

Pirog would beat Lee, no doubt about it. Him vs Martinez would be a great match.

Your absolutely right. This middleweight division is absolutely stacked yet it feels like there is nobody for Sergio to fight. Bullocks! Many good fights to be made.

The problem is, Middleweight is stacked with talent but has no big names.

Sergio wants to get some big names and paydays at the end of his career but unless Floyd or Pac fights him, it's not gonna happen.

Sergio would earn tremendous respect from hardcore boxing fans if he ran the gauntlet of Golovkin, Pirog, Proksa etc but there's not a chance in the world DiBella will put him in a string of high risk/low reward fights like that. Most likely we'll see him face guys like Macklin and Lee - good contenders who can sell some tickets.

Martinez has been reduced to calling out Chavez Jr repeatedly, which whatever the WBC say, will never happen.

Remember DiBella's response when asked about a Pirog fight? "**** Dmitry Pirog". Guys like Pirog, Proksa and Golovkin aren't going to easily find themselves in the ring with Sergio.

All these guys just need to fight each other to get a name and Sergio will fight them.

It really would be a step down if he fought them(i know not for us hardcores but business wise it would).

Sergio Would beat all those guys! I like HIM as a fighter!

Ya'll fail to remember that SERGIO WOuld not fight Kelly Pavlik at 164! Kelly could not make 160 anymore thats why rematch clause went out the window! Kelly Asked more than 1 time to fight at 164! Sergio declined! Why? They knew they caught Kelly at the right time!

Kelly spent 2 weeks of his Training camp IN REHAB! Had to drop 20 lbs the week of fight because of rehab! Kelly Said he should have cancelled fight but didnt want to cancel again! Kelly was STILL WINNING by 1 point after 8 rds!

People say Sergio dont want none of Priog, well the truth is he knew he got lucky against Kelly and DID NOT WANT TO GET BEAT IN A REMATCH!

LOu DiBella Quote- "You Could see the tired in Kellys Eyes"

Lee, Macklin, Golovkin, Geale, Pirog, Proksa, N'Jikam, Golovkin, Lemieux, Barker.

Pick any two from that list and put them in the ring and you have a tasty fight. These ****s better start fighting each other soon.

After Golovkin vs Simon isn't Golovkin vs N'Dam a mandatory fight or something like that :huh. Besides this only Pirog vs Geale might happen now. May fight between two of Lee, Macklin, Barker happen? Or are the going to fight Martinez one by one?
