160 lb Williams fights like Pavlik

    Anybody else notice how similar Williams fighting style is to Pavlik's, in Paul's last fight? They looked almost identical, except color of course.

    I'd like Williams to fight KP....don't think that fight would last long though but I'd still like to see it.

    not really, KP fights tall, PW does not, and PW is more herky jerky and throws more hooks

    ya I don't see a ton of similarity. I do see Pavlik breaking down PW in a fight though. But don't get me wrong, they are both promising young chAmpions both of which I am a fan of. But they are stylistically very diferent

    In Paul Williams last fight, he looked very similar to Pavlik's fighting style. Did you see his fight last week? In past fights, I agree, he has fought differently, but his fight at 160, he looked like a different Paul Williams.

    Paul is just sitting down on his punches now that is the only simililarity.

    everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but because they both throw a ton of punches and are both lanky doesn't make their respective styles similar.

    The tall pressure fighter is quite rare, so I suppose they are a little alike in that way.

    First of all, I am a huge Pavlik fan, I was in no way saying that Paul Williams is equal to Kelly Pavlik, I was merely stating that Paul Williams fighting style and mannerisms in his last fight looked very similar to Kelly's.
