    Abraham wins this one.

Chavez is getting over rated because of that 12th round. Outside of that one shot he did worse than any other opponent Martinez had faced, he literally lost nearly every second of the fight. Barker and Maklin did better.

Abraham most likely would but dont forget that he likes to cover up a lot and has been going the distance with fighters like Robert Stielglitz (lost TKO to Librado Andrade and Alejandro Berrio) and Piotr Wilczewski (lost TKO to Curtis Stevens)

Its all about who throws the most and if Chavez can with stand Abrahams power although having his orbital bone cracked by Martinez doesnt really do him any favours

This would be a pretty good fight I think, very very interesting.

Man I cant wait for JR to get to 168, will be awesome to see how these fights play out.

As for this matchup, idk..... theres a part of me that thinks JR could outwork AA to a points win. But then I think about when AA does unload, and I just dont know, not sure Chavez could stand up to that.

Chavez has never been in a ring with someone who hits like a mule, like AA. :hat

JJC needs a big name who happens to be on a downward slide.
Pavlik comes to mind, he's pretty much shot, yes?

    This would be interesting fight..:think

I have no doubt IF Abraham lands his bomb Chavez will be in queers streets BUt I am not sure if Chavez gives him any room to land his bombs. If Chavez stays inside this might be long night for king Arthur. Fuk this might be hell of a fight.:good

Very interesting fight. Chavez actually has a good shot to win this at 168.

If Chavez Chin can hold up against AA's bombs i would hugely favour him on activity alone. But Chavez aint that hard to find, and a KO win for AA would not be unlikely either

abraham will win when he decides to let his hands go.

chavez bends over at the waist and walks right at his opponent. abraham will eventually land something big...bigger than anything chavez has felt.

chavez landed a headbutt - left hook combo on martinez. one moment in a fight that he literally lost every second of. outside of that, his claims to fame are doing the same thing to andy lee that brian vera did, and going the distance with a moustache that pavlik forced into quitting on his stool.

i actually don't mind jr unlike some on here but for heaven's sake...he's done nothing other than be named chavez. big strong kid and i like watching his fights but it is what it is.
