168 LBS most packed and exciting divison

    Yep the SM division is getting ****in deep... I mean there are so many different matchups to be made in here. i just hope the fighters stay put in this division for awhile.. The thing is there isn't one fighter that really stands above the rest.. Everyone is pretty much similiar in terms of ability and that always makes the best matchups.

    Froch say's that he wants to UNIFI, and he has taken massive financial gambles to get where he is, who knows? He has made more money away from boxing as i understand it so i think he is up for all sorts.

    well **** man 168 gots dawson thinking about moving down AA and Kp more then likely are coming up. then PW can awasy try a go at 168 JT gave a good acount for himslef Green gots dynamite in his fist(aways has , his chin isn't the best but at least he didn't stare at his feet agian) Bika ,andrade, Ward, Miranda(win or lose his power will always get him a shot)andre Dirrell , Anthony dirrell seems to be on the comeback since fighting cancer(i always felt he was the better of the 2 brothers)Balzsay is a champ and a wild card ,Inkin gots skills,Pascal,B-hop might just think about coming down if a champ emerges in the next 12 months, .

    compared to 147. margo is done, pretty much all they got is cotto, clotty,SSM,berto, (Hopefully Pbf comes bacK0 certainly 168 is going to be the pride and jewel of Showtime. and Hbo mightjust jump back on the ship like they did when Clazaghe beat lacy. lacy is another wild card although he seems shot. he may have a second run in him we never know

    well hopefully he makes that attempt.... if he can make the effort to actually get the big names involved then 168 is good..... but if the traditional route of 168 continues (all the best fighters not fighting each other and just fighting scrubs) 168 will continue to be a wack ass division

    come on walk. even your boy PW is thinking of going up to 168 he even called out Joe C in his last post fight interview basicly when he siad lets see if we can get a certain 168 lb champ out of retirement. and everybody at 168 would be his size and with PW work rat and reach thats another wild card.( you do know nobody at 147 or 154 with the exception of maybe martinez, SSM or angulo will fight PW at those weight) he may be forced to step up to 168 lbs

    Froch is more then likely going to rematch JT or unify with bute. and if they don't unify right away Bute will fight green and then go to unify after wich the winner will fight andrade. miranda is fighting ward. If 168 sucked so much why is Dawson thinking a bout coming down to 168? he knows it the best division. and froch jt proved you wrong about the traditional rout . if that was the case he would of stay hothe only real fight he wants in the UK is if JOE C comes out of Retirement

    and if dawson does indeed go down to 168 (if he beats Tarver for a second time. i belive tarver is undefeated in rematches so you never know.) HBo will pick 168 up so quick. plus you know they'll shell out the cash for a tournament like event

    pw will only go to 168 to fight calzaghe at this point... he doesnt want to make it his home... he just wants to beat the big dogs.... there is not 1 mainstream big dog in 168.....

    i understand that but 168 has always the division that was supposed to be... all these great guys who just sit aroudn and fight jokes... ill believe it when i see it.... i think a froch taylor rematch would be a waste of time for froch... he will beat taylor worse than the first fight... unless hbo takes the rematch thats the only way i think froch should take the rematch.. because being on hbo he will do himself some good... but other wise we will see what happens

    think about this dawson if he beats tarve again may move down to 168 . Pw if nobody want s to fight him at 147,154,160 might go up to 168 . we could see Dawson vs Williams in the next year how would you feel about that?

    yeah i mean... like i said.... 168 has all the potential in the world... but the guys dont fight each other.... im not going to give it the benefit of the doubt just because the guys are there.... the guys have been there for years... and they never fought

    light weight guys fight
    light welter guys fight
    welter guys fight

    super mid has enough names to match up but the guys just dont fight... and dawson said he hopes williams keeps winning so eventually that fight would be made... i just want to see how williams holds up to a big puncher.... @ 147 & 154 im not really worried about his chin or whatever... but at 160 there are some hard punchers... he's said he has sparred with everyone from welterweights to heavyweights....and championship heavyweights... so if he could hold his own against them (which i dont know ) he could hold his own against most

    168 is looking in great shape. Add to the pool of talent that is already there guys like Pavlik and Abraham maybe moving up in the next 12-18 months, Dawson talking about dropping down, and Williams possibly able to get involve... It looks like exciting times for the division.

    I've always liked the SMW because of growing up watching the likes of Benn, Eubank, Collins and JC.
