There was a thread a few days ago in which we had to nominate the 3 best fighters from our respective countries. I went with: 1. Mike McCallum 2. Glen Johnson 3. O'Neil Bell What do you think?
I understand perfectly what you say. It is the old way to promote boxing and it is dying. The only chance for boxing is to get all the true boxing fans around the world. Your collegues are not the future for boxing, they are the past. Trying to please people not really interested in boxing is not working anymore.
i though you were refering to the froch, taylor, kessler situation. so not totally inacurate if we look at that situation
i would say thats only partly accurate they all want pavlik becuase he has a name and has shown he is beatable so guys like kessler and froch think they can whoop pavlik and get easy name recognition for it.
Exactly. Plus even if it's never going to happen you'd think people on a forum like this would at least want to see the best match-ups being made & shown
i know kessler - but you're just a fan who's not a fighter like i am . don't pass judgment dismissively as an answer just because you don't know what to say. that insults me especially in this situation so if you don't know how to respond to what i say leave the cheap **** out please.
well not always the case it was funny how RTL a major German Network always punks HBO. Boxing is huge in germany. AA want world recognition. and he wants it ASAP wich is why he came state side
I can't think of anyone else except maybe Trevor Berbick. Im born & raised in Wales so: 1. Joe Calzaghe 2. Jimmy Wilde 3. Tommy Farr
