Where would you rate Calzaghe at SMW, if he decided to make a comeback late this year, a year after his last fight? Behind Bute? Behind Froch? Behind Andrade? See...;)

Watch Kessler against Haussler...a C level fighter and try and imagine Bute or Froch trying to destroy him as impressively. You can't.

How can Froch be number 1, what Froch has done to get this, beat the 160lbs Taylor, getting a vacant belt over Pascal, c'mon. The rating should be

    1- Kessler
    2- Bute
    3- Froch

    :deal

I would think that too, but it was just a short article in a danish newspaper were they wrote that it was WBA that stated the fight would be in late august.. and not before:? nothing much else information about it!

What has Kessler don in the last couple years besides being beat by Joe Calzaghe and Bute has unfinished business with Librado Andrade. Froch #1.

Arthur Abraham still the best even though he's fighting at 160.

He might have the skills but he's not using them at the moment. I've given up on hoping he'll get his situation sorted out - he's just as retired as Calzaghe to me.

I don't think anyone questions Kessler's ability-he'd beat any supermiddleweight.

The problem is his recent tour through lower tier guys.

Its been 2 years since he beat a top guy and if he fights this Pedro Guerrero fellow next it could be close to 3 years by the time he fights a solid contender again.

Kessler is starting not to matter and thats why he shouldn't be the top guy anymore.

If he were to fight a contender again then he obviously goes back to the #1 spot.

But you don't stay the top guy by fighting only 3rd tier guys while the other contenders are fighting each other.

I kinf of agree. I'm willing to let Kessler a little bit more time though. Until the end of this year.
