Top of the Bill Joe Calzaghe vs Mikkel Kessler (Nov) Other Titleist Chief Support Alejandro Berrio vs Danilo Haussler (Sep) In The Mix Jeff Lacy, Anthony Mundine, Librado Andrade The Future Lucian Bute(20-0), Carl Froch (21-0), Denis Inkin (31-0) Moving Up/Down? Jermain Taylor, Winky Wright, Bernard Hopkins On the comeback trail Markus Beyer, Mads Larsen So many good fights to be made!! I would love to see: Lacy vs Mundine Bute vs Froch Froch vs Berrio Calzaghe vs Taylor/Hopkins/Wright Kessler vs Wright Beyer vs Larsen Inkin vs Andrade
Very true. Although guys like Beyer will fade out (if he hasn't retired already) and I'm thinking Larsen will have a hard time keeping up with the elite in the division as well. Still, having Bute, Froch, Mundine, Taylor, Lacy, and Andrade up there makes the division very strong.
Taylor vs. Lacy coming soon. I wrote a thread about it a while ago. One of these young guns is soon to be cast away.
Had some very rich fights over the last few years Calzaghe-Lacy Beyer-Kessler Beyer-Green II Green-Mundine Potentially Kessler-Calzaghe Not one in america either.
any word on how Lacy is dealing with the shoulder? After having 2 reconstructions myself i should think he would be back training by now...
Meaby Miranda will go to 168 also after problems with making weight in MW :yep . SMW is strong as hell.
 WHAT??? What happened to the Bute v. Berrio fight? Do you have any links that might confirm this? Didn't Berrio HAVE to fight Bute in September, because Bute won the right to be the mandatory? Is Berrio giving up his belt or can he defend against someone else except for Bute? Does this mean that Bute will not compete for a World Title fight this year? Someone please explain!
I think it's because champion may take free defense before mandatory challange. Something pretty normal. Especially that Berrio won title 3 months before Bute's eliminator.
Yeah...I saw this: http://www.fightnews.com/fightnews_2/headlines//EElupFVuuARcVCfVFP.html So Berrio is ducking Bute, right?
Theres something about watching the 168 pounders fighting which is so easy on the eye. Good division, but like Cruiser, kind of gets bypassed
The average bloke on the street is 5'10" to 6ft - Average weight about 12 stone - these guys are normal guys who happen to be finely tuned athletes, they can't get away with being fat at this weight so they're always in shape but at the same time pack a decent punch. I prefer LHW but most of the guys there are lazy at the moment - SMW is where all the action is.
