couple of thoughts on vito meilnicki. while it was only his third fight, the kid showed skill, power and maturity. knocked a 28 year old man out who had 10 fights worth of experience to his resume. think he has a future? also, that is some real bragging rights! a high school senior! two BOYS talking. "so john is having a party saturday night. you going?" "nah, got to fly to vegas and appear on the under card of the heavy weight championship."
Not smart with his alias "White Magic." A lot of people don't respond very positively to that kind of reference and some of his opponents will be gunning for him for that reason. Ought to change it.
Couldn't agree more. "Magic" invokes images of witches and demons. What about Vito "White Power" Mielnicki or Vito "White is right" Mielnicki..something a little more palatable.
I don’t think it’s smart either but why not? It’s sooo many “black” this and that, as long it’s nothing racial behind it I seen no wrong, if someone is pointing fingers on his name they should point fingers on fighters with “black” in their name as well. This coming from a white guy in a interracial marriage that thinks racism is the dumbest **** ever.
yah, the "magic" is the LEAST problem i have with the alias! LOL! (i am white for the record) think the kid has skills. and being that he is only 17, can see him growing into a middle weight when he finally fills out. hope he has a long career.
