Yeah, if any fight warranted a rematch it was Cotto-Mosley.

Always felt there was a bit of a fab 4 thing with Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto, and Mosley considering they all fought and were all multi weight champions

Been a long while since I revistedf this, but i recall at the time, believing Cotto edged it out in a close one.

I honestly completely forget Pac vs. Mosley even happened sometimes...probably because it was the worst and least competitive matchup between the four of them. (yes, worse than Pac vs. May, although PBF haters likely won't be in a hurry to admit that)

Cotto is arguably even worse than Canelo. He demanded a 159 catchweight against Martinez, then acted like GGG was a nobody who didn't deserve the unification fight and chose Geale instead, who GGG just KO'd. Of course he fought Geale at 157 catchweight, which is unheard of basically and Geale had never fought below 160.

This filthy character has zero integrity, even by boxing standards.

    Ffff**** not that long ago!

One of the definitive fights of the era for mine.

Judah, Mosley back to back cemented Cotto as a superstar

Neither fought eachother in their primes though like Leonard vs Duran 1, Hearns vs Hagler, or Hearns vs Leonard 1.

Well maybe apart from Cotto vs Pacquiao but the rest of the fights they were all past their primes and none of their fights are close to the classics the FAB 4 produced.

I’m okay with catch weights - both parties have to agree on them after all - but catch weight bouts shouldn’t be eligible for world titles imo.

Nobody said they were all classics or prime, though I'm not sure Duran was prime in some of those and Hagler was at the very end of his career when Leonard fought him even if still in his early 30s
Imagine if that fight had have happened in 83 rather than 87
