I'm gonna go with Ward by a very close decision. More well rounded with solid fundamentals. Moorer was a dangerous puncher with good skills but he might get overly anxious if Ward insists on having a boxing match rather than a slug fest and they would create openings for Ward. Either way, a very entertaining and competitive bout. Doubt either would be able to do more than score a knockdown as ward has a solid chin but lacks KO power and Moorer hung in there with hard hitting heavies such as Cooper.
Moorer was a little unproven at this weight, but, what he did at heavyweight gives me enough confidence to pick him over Ward.
Badly. For Michael. Very very few I’d pick over ward at light heavyweight or cruiser. Ward is that good. Extremely underrated. He’s the super middleweight GOAT
Ward. I have little doubt about this. Moorer would have a chance at landing one big punch, but it would be slim.
