175: James Toney vs Michael Spinks

What a fight!

 

Uh...Are we going off of what Toney is capable of at his best or the level he fought at at 175?

 

Would it matter? Toney isn't decisioning Spinks, and Spinks ain't stopping Toney.

 

I'm not talking to you on this thread, you had Spinks rated higher than Hearns, damn you.

 

Spinks via wide UD in a pretty dull fight. Toney couldnt outbox Spinks from the outside, and the Jinx would make JT weary of attempting to get inside. It'd be a fight commanded by Mike's jab, and even though I'm a HUGE Toney fan... theres basically no way he's beating Spinks.

 

And later admitted that Hearns should probably he ahead of him.
