175: James Toney vs Michael Spinks

So what do you consider Larry Holmes, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, Dwight Qawi etc??

 

Larry Holmes was robbed. Spinks couldn't carry his jockstrap

 

Both fights certainly showed he can.

He edged the first one, pretty clearly..havent seen to many people argue that one for Holmes. Huge win that and it solidifies Michael's greatness.

The 2nd was a bit of a robbery, though I didnt have Holmes winning wide..He still lost some rounds there, he did however bash Spinks a little in some of the rounds he won. Definitely the better man that night, but Spinks was competitive all the way against a faded but still very good heavyweight great, when himself was starting to slide and having major issues with his knees.
