Hold it there Frankenfrank, Jones was by no means stronger than Dick Tiger...quicker, etc., but not stronger.

Jones wide UD, far faster, very very hard to hit clean let alone hit often enough and not only that but he's the naturally bigger man. Jones may KO Tiger if he's aggressive but he probably fights somewhat cautiously

Hmmmm............I mean, you're 'comebacks' or more confusing than hurtful.

I don't even know what you're trying to argue? It is amusing though.

I think Jones' speed & boxing ability will keep him away from the dangerous Tiger in this one. Jones by UD. Jones also has the power to make Tiger think twice about rushing in foolishly. Roy Jones, to stick & move for a decision victory.

Roy Jones outspeeds Tiger to a decision. Tiger wouldn't be able to land his best on the much faster Roy.

Because a poll would see people vote without explanation. Have you not followed the numerous tournaments going round?

    For chrissakes bring back Asero:patsch

    I like Roy here.

His fast hands and feet can really be used to great effect to 'outbox' Tiger and not really give him the chance to get into the fight. I really cant see Tiger winning a 12 rounder as he just dosent have the tools to effectivly counter Jones speed. Although Jones wasnt as good of Technical Boxer as Giardello he was quicker of hand and foot and this would do better against Tiger

    Jones 10-2 or somewhere about

Jones gets a clear UD here, but the actual fight was a lot tougher than the cards suggest.

Unfortunately for Tiger, Jones was at his mercurial best!!!

The weight probably suits Jones more, though Tiger was the better fighter.

I think Jones probably takes a decision.

I agree. It is hard to see Tiger winning, unless he knocks Jones out. And Tiger although in great shape, was actually a small light heavy, fighting mostly at Super middleweight (though such a division did not exist). It is hard to see Jones being knocked out by him (though it is possible). I think that Jones wins a fairly lopsided decision.
