3 HOF's, 3 great wins for Hopkin's but it can be argued that they are significantly smaller men.

Hopkin's looks bigger than Calzaghe at the PC. He's a genuine LHW.

Oscar, Tito + Winky could never be competitive at 175, their frames are too small.

Strangely, two of those guys were favored to beat Hopkins. It was pretty much a forgone conclusion that Tito was going to walk through old man Hopkins.

Many people dont know that Hopkins was much bigger as an amateur and actaully started his pro career as a cruiserweight.

Trinidad is the win I give him most credit for out of that lot, he actually looked like a force at middleweight and given what an underdog he was its hard to take credit away from him

Followed by De La Fishnets - who had a smaller frame

    Winky-Wright was a farce

De La Hoya is defintely too small for even middleweight - however Winky Wright and Tito Trinidad could certainly compete with anyone at 175 as evidenced by their recent fights with Hopkins and Jones respectively.

Winky was favored to beat Hopkins as well. Tarver was a 3-1 favorite over Nard.

I give him credit for all those wins. I'm just saying they are significantly smaller men. Hopkin's is ripped at 175 can you imagine oscar at 175, he'd be fat as ****.

Because Hagler beat fighters who actually beat decent opponents at 160lbs and above. People who also looked really good at that weight. Plus, Hopkins has also gone on record as saying he is a natural 175lber. Most people would consider Hagler a decent sized middleweight but not a huge one. I reckon he could have fought at 154lbs.

I can't remember who was favoured, that fight didn't get me excited somehow, but I certainly didn't ****ing favour his flabby ass when I saw the weigh in and the obvious styles clash

He looked horrible in there, just horrible. Old Mary did a good job roughing him up, but the thing is he was so damn slow and lacking sharpness it was inevitable from round 1. I mean his damn feet must have been stuck in concrete or something. Wright has a really bad style for moving up in weight, but 170 was just WAY too far

Tarver was probably more impressive than any of these, just because he completely outclassed the guy

Oscar debut weight 133lbs, Hopkin's 177lbs. Over 3 stone diff.
